* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…Portions of south central and southwest Missouri,
including the following counties, in south central Missouri,
Howell and Texas. In southwest Missouri, Christian, Douglas,
Greene, Ozark, Stone, Taney, Webster and Wright.
* WHEN…Until 930 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 438 PM CDT, Trained weather spotters reported heavy rain
in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
already occurring. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Rainfall rates from 3 to 5 inches per hour will occur
as the line of storms moves through the area. This may
produce rainfall amounts in excess of an inch in a short
period of time.
