Flood Advisory issued April 20 at 4:40PM CDT until April 20 at 9:30PM CDT by NWS Springfield MO

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of south central and southwest Missouri,
including the following counties, in south central Missouri,
Howell and Texas. In southwest Missouri, Christian, Douglas,
Greene, Ozark, Stone, Taney, Webster and Wright.

* WHEN…Until 930 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 438 PM CDT, Trained weather spotters reported heavy rain
in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
already occurring. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Rainfall rates from 3 to 5 inches per hour will occur
as the line of storms moves through the area. This may
produce rainfall amounts in excess of an inch in a short
period of time.

Creek, Mccord Bend, Table Rock, Theodosia, Kirbyville,
Pontiac, Blue Eye, Wasola, Coney Island, Sundown,
Brownbranch, Rome, Long Run, Thornfield, Bradleyville,
Goodhope, Squires, Rueter, Noble, Isabella, Protem and
Garrison.
