Illinois…

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping below
flood stage at Plumfield this evening, and at Murphysboro Tuesday
morning.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Big Muddy River near Murphysboro.

* WHEN…Until Friday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 23.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river will fall below flood stage Tuesday
morning to 21.6 feet early Thursday morning. It will then
rise to flood stage early Friday morning. It will fall for
the remainder of the period.
– Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
