Flood Warning issued April 20 at 12:28PM CDT until April 20 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Linn County in east central Kansas, and Bates and Henry
counties in west central Missouri.

* WHEN…Until 1000 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1226 PM CDT, the Missouri Department of Transportation
reported flooding in the warned area due to thunderstorms.
More thunderstorms are expected to occur through this
afternoon. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have already fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible
in the warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Clinton, Butler, Windsor, Adrian, Rich Hill, Pleasanton, La
Cygne, Mound City, Linn Valley, Urich, Calhoun, Deepwater,
Montrose, Hume, Parker, Blue Mound, Prescott, Coal, Amsterdam
and Amoret.
