Winter Storm Warning issued April 19 at 6:15PM MDT until April 20 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. An additional 2 to 6 inches, bringing
total snow accumulations to 5 to 10 inches, with up to 1 foot
possible over the peaks. Lesser amounts near Raton Pass. Winds
gusting as high as 25 mph.

* WHERE…Northern Mountains, and Johnson and Bartlett Mesas
Including Raton Pass.

* WHEN…Until midnight MDT tonight.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Tire traction will be
reduced. Extend the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle
in front of you. This includes along portions of Interstate 25
near Raton Pass.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The weight of heavy wet snow on trees and
power lines may create power outages.
