Flash Flood Warning issued April 21 at 4:33PM CDT until April 21 at 6:30PM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA

At 433 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4
and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Metairie, Hahnville, St. Rose, Ama, Waggaman, River Ridge,
Destrehan, Luling and New Orleans Armstrong Airport.

This includes the following Interstates…
Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 220 and 225.
Interstate 310 between mile markers 1 and 7.
