…The Flood Advisory is extended for the following rivers in
Oklahoma…

Flint Creek near Kansas affecting Delaware and Cherokee Counties.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Flint Creek near Kansas.

* WHEN…Until Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 8.0 feet, Flint Creek threatens individual campsites
and becomes dangerous for recreational floating.
At 11.0 feet, minor flooding occurs from Fidlers Bend to Chewey
Bridge. Permanent campgrounds and farmlands are affected.
Turbulence makes the river unsafe for floating.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 8.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise again to a crest of
9.6 feet this evening, which is below flood stage.
– Action stage is 8.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
