Mississippi River at Caruthersville

For the Lower Mississippi River…including Tiptonville,
Caruthersville, Osceola, Memphis, Tunica Mhoon Landing, Helena…
Major flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Caruthersville.

* WHEN…Until late Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 37.5 feet, In Tennessee, Route 104 between Mengelwood
and the levee is flooding. Bradley Road just east of the Obion
River is nearly flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 37.6 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:00 PM CDT Monday was 38.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to remain in minor flood
stage through Saturday while steadily falling.
– Flood stage is 32.0 feet.

FEMA Extends Individual Assistance Deadline for Homeowners and Renters in Kentucky FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky homeowners and renters who suffered uninsured or underinsured damage to their property from the February Severe Storms, Flooding and Straight-line winds now have a few weeks left to apply for federal disaster assistance. FEMA has extended the application deadline to Sunday, May 25, 2025. FEMA assistance for individuals affected by the severe weather can cover rental assistance, temporary housing, home repairs, personal property losses and other disaster-related needs not covered by insurance.
