readings falling below flood stage at New Madrid Thursday morning,
and at Hickman on Saturday.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and the river will fall below
flood stage Thursday morning.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at New Madrid.

* WHEN…Until early Thursday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 36.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Thursday morning and continue falling to 19.1 feet Friday,
May 02.
– Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
