Flood Warning issued April 22 at 1:16PM CDT until April 29 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Memphis TN

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Mississippi…Arkansas…

Mississippi River at Tunica Mhoon Landing

For the Lower Mississippi River…including Tiptonville,
Caruthersville, Osceola, Memphis, Tunica Mhoon Landing, Helena…
Major flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Tunica Mhoon Landing.

* WHEN…Until Tuesday, April 29.

* IMPACTS…At 38.0 feet, Water is beginning to go over Loggerhead
Lane going into Bordeaux Camp. Drum Cove is flooding, and Buffalo
Drive is mostly covered. The south ends of Ricky Road and Brown
Road are flooded, along with the street going out of Nel-Win Camp.
Tammy Road and Lloyd Road are flooded. Bee Trail and Plum Road are
going underwater. The east part of Sherry Lane is being flooded
and Peters Island is almost completely inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 37.6 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 37.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to remain in moderate flood
stage through Friday afternoon, dropping into minor for
several days after.
– Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
