At 419 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over mainly rural areas of Grant, La Salle and
southeastern Winn Parishes, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of Grant, La Salle and
southeastern Winn Parishes, including the following locations:
Nebo…Urania…Rogers…Catahoula Lake…Dry Prong…Bentley…
Rochelle…Zenoria…Lake Iatt and Pollock.
