Special Weather Statement issued April 22 at 4:41PM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA

At 441 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Crossroads, or near Bogalusa, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Angie, Poplarville, Varnado, Mcneil, and Crossroads.

This includes Interstate 59 in Mississippi between mile markers 16
and 42.
