* WHAT…Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Mississippi River at Osceola.
* WHEN…Until Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…At 35.0 feet, In Tennessee, Highway 19 West is flooded
at many places between Ashport and Goldust halting evcuations
southwest of Ashport. Home sites on Henderson Shop Road are being
covered. T. Rossinger Road is beginning to flood. Home sites
between Crawford Road and Cold Creek are flooding. In Arkansas,
the terminal elevator on Sans Souci Road is being flooded.

– At 12:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 35.2 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 35.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is forecast to drop below major flood
stage tomorrow, remaining above moderate flood stage for
several days thereafter.
– Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
