Illinois River near Tahlequah affecting Cherokee County.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Neosho River near Commerce.

* WHEN…Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, moderate agricultural flooding occurs.
Riverview Park experiences moderate flooding. State Highway 125
near the fairgrounds will be closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 19.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is cresting and will remain nearly
steady through Wednesday morning before it starts to fall.
The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
Thursday morning.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
