continue falling.

For the Mississippi River…including Hickman, New Madrid…Minor
flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at New Madrid.

* WHEN…Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 34.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
bottomland and surrounding low lying areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 35.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 17.5 feet
Saturday, May 3.
– Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
