Special Weather Statement issued April 22 at 7:27PM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX

At 727 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles northeast of Barnhart, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Arden, Mertzon, and Sherwood.
