* Dust Storm Warning for…
Southeastern Eddy County in southeastern New Mexico…
Southwestern Lea County in southeastern New Mexico…

* Until 700 PM MDT.

* At 553 PM MDT, a dust channel was near Jal Airport, or near Jal,
moving northwest at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in
excess of 60 mph.

SOURCE…Satellite Imagery.

IMPACT…Dangerous life-threatening travel.

* Areas along and near highway 285 will be impacted.

Locations impacted include…
Carlsbad, Otis, Cavern City Air Terminal, Carlsbad North, Living
Desert State Park, Loving, and Malaga.
