Flash Flood Warning issued April 24 at 5:08AM CDT until April 24 at 7:30AM CDT by NWS Lake Charles LA

At 508 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 3 to 4 inches in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Lafayette, Scott, Carencro, Broussard and Youngsville.
