Flood Advisory issued April 24 at 5:22AM CDT until April 24 at 8:30AM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of southwest Iowa, including the following
county, Fremont and southeast Nebraska, including the following
county, Otoe.

* WHEN…Until 830 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 522 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Hamburg, Sidney, Farragut, Riverton and Waubonsie State Park.
