Flood Advisory issued April 24 at 5:33PM CDT until April 24 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Hastings NE

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of south central Nebraska, including the
following county, Thayer.

* WHEN…Until 900 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 533 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
already occurring. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Bruning, Alexandria, Belvidere and Gilead.
