Mississippi River at Caruthersville

For the Lower Mississippi River…including Tiptonville,
Caruthersville, Osceola, Memphis, Tunica Mhoon Landing, Helena…
Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Caruthersville.

* WHEN…Until early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 36.0 feet, Grain terminal area east of Blytheville,
Arkansas is flooding. In Tennessee, overbank flooding from the
river is cutting across Barr Point. Suggs Road is flooded through
the low spots.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 35.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to remain in minor flood
stage until Saturday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
