* WHERE…Mississippi River at New Madrid.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 34.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this afternoon.
– Flood stage is 34.0 feet.

Snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches with 10 to 12 inches locally along highest peaks. * WHERE...Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties. * WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 11 AM PDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult at times. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute and weekend travel, especially across portions of Highways 359, 338, and 6. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snowfall expected Friday night and Saturday morning. Snow will struggle to accumulate on roadways during the daytime hours, though isolated heavy snow showers may bring greater accumulations Saturday afternoon.
