Mississippi River Near Arkansas City affecting Desha, Washington,
Bolivar and Chicot Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Vicksburg.

* WHEN…Until Tuesday, May 06.

* IMPACTS…At 49.5 feet, In Vicksburg, the west side of Thompson
Lake Road up to the railroad is inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 48.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 49.5
