Operating Tips for Bedminster TFRs 2025

Pilots should be prepared that the Bedminster TFR (91.141), located in north New Jersey, can be activated at any time during the next four years, but more frequently on weekends mid-Spring thru mid-Autumn. It is every pilot’s preflight responsibility (91.103) to check Notice to Air Missions [NOTAMS] through Leidos Flight Service to verify the exact-airspace and times-of-movement of any TFRs that may be active. Bedminster TFRs can and do change quickly, and always impact many airports in NJ, PA and NY.

A PDF document is available that provides operational tips, best practices, and recommendations for operating safely and efficiently in the Bedminster TFR. We encourage you to download this PDF and save it on your iPad for reference.

The particulars of the Bedminster TFR ATC procedures are an ever changing and evolving process. The PDF document will be updated as necessary and we encourage you to check for changes prior to each subsequent TFR. If you download this document to your iPad, you can easily check for updates by clicking on the provided link found on the first page of the PDF.
