Special Weather Statement issued April 24 at 3:22PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN

At 322 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Beech Grove, or over Indianapolis, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Monument Circle, Indiana State Fairgrounds, Warren Park,
Indianapolis, and Beech Grove.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 65 between mile markers 106 and 113.
Interstate 70 between mile markers 80 and 91.
