Special Weather Statement issued April 24 at 5:10AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX

At 509 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Terral to 12 miles south of Windthorst.
Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Newport, Lake Nocona, and Nocona around 535 AM CDT.
Bowie and Lake Amon G Carter around 540 AM CDT.
Sunset around 555 AM CDT.
St. Jo around 600 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Cundiff, Fruitland,
Park Springs, Capps Corner, Montague, Crafton, Ringgold, Forestburg,
Illinois Bend, and Nocona Hills.
