Special Weather Statement issued April 24 at 5:38PM EDT by NWS Charleston SC

At 538 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Scotia, moving northeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Estill, Furman, Scotia, Lena, Shirley, Garnett, De Loach and
Stafford.
