Special Weather Statement issued April 24 at 6:17PM EDT by NWS Louisville KY

At 616 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
near Fort Knox, moving north at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
West Point, Fort Knox, and Howard.
