Winter Weather Advisory issued April 24 at 1:27PM PDT until April 27 at 11:00AM PDT by NWS Reno NV

* WHAT…Snow above 5000 feet. Snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches
with 10 to 12 inches locally along highest peaks.

* WHERE…Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties.

* WHEN…From 5 PM Friday to 11 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be difficult at times. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Friday evening commute and weekend
travel, especially across portions of Highways 359, 338, and 6.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Heaviest snowfall expected Friday night and
Saturday morning. Snow will struggle to accumulate on roadways
during the daytime hours, though isolated heavy snow showers may
bring greater accumulations Saturday afternoon.
