Flood Advisory issued April 24 at 6:42PM CDT until April 24 at 10:45PM CDT by NWS Norman OK

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of northwest Oklahoma, including the following
counties, Harper, Woods and Woodward.

* WHEN…Until 1045 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Ponding of water
in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 642 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Buffalo, Freedom, Alabaster Caverns State Park, Selman and
Camp Houston.
