Flood Advisory issued April 24 at 7:50PM EDT until April 24 at 9:45PM EDT by NWS Wilmington NC

* WHAT…Minor ponding or flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
possible.

* WHERE…A portion of northeast South Carolina, including the
following counties, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Marion and
Marlboro.

* WHEN…Until 945 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 748 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor ponding or flooding may begin shortly in
the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have
fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain may result in minor
ponding or flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Florence, Marion, Darlington, Timmonsville, Latta, Lamar,
Quinby, Sellers, Mars Bluff, Francis Marion University,
Florence Darlington Technical College Main Campus,
Mechanicsville, Claussen, Mont Clare, Evergreen, Effingham,
Darlington Raceway, Brownsville, Oak Grove and Blue Brick.
