…The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Mississippi…Tennessee…
Arkansas…Missouri…

Mississippi River at Memphis

Mississippi River Above Tiptonville

For the Lower Mississippi River…including Tiptonville,
Caruthersville, Osceola, Memphis, Tunica Mhoon Landing, Helena…
elevated river levels are forecast.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Memphis.

* WHEN…From this morning to Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 34.0 feet, In Arkansas, the camp on Robinson Road
right inside the levee is totally flooded. Roads to industries
inside the levee south of West Memphis are flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 33.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall to 9.1 feet Friday,
May 16.
– Action stage is 28.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
