Mississippi…

Buttahatchie River near Aberdeen

For the Buttahatchie River…including Aberdeen…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Buttahatchie River near Aberdeen.

* WHEN…Until Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 15.0 feet, Water is covering a portion of Air Base
Road located on the west bank of the river. Low-lying farmland is
flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 15.4 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 AM CDT Friday was 16.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river will fall to 13.6 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then rise to 13.9 feet early
tomorrow afternoon. It will fall below flood stage early
Sunday morning to 12.6 feet early Monday morning. It will
then rise to 12.9 feet Monday evening. It will fall again and
remain below flood stage.
– Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

FFWSJU The National Weather Service in San Juan has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Carolina County in Puerto Rico... * Until midnight AST tonight. * At 929 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing and local emergency managers reported flood waters from Quebrada Blafina affecting portions of road PR-887 near Plaza Carolina. The road is currently impassable. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall and runoff continues. * WHERE...Utuado. * WHEN...Until 1000 PM AST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 749 PM AST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Up to 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Utuado and Cayuco. -
