High pressure over the Arctic will cause east winds to increase to
20 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 to 40 mph on Friday persisting
through Sunday along the Arctic Coast. This will bring areas of
blowing snow and reduced visibility, but a lack of widespread
transportable snow will make these impacts scattered and some
areas will see mostly good visibility. Winds and blowing snow will
decrease Sunday night as high pressure weakens.
