Special Weather Statement issued April 24 at 7:42PM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA

At 741 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Joaquin, or 8 miles northeast of Shelbyville,
moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Gloster, Keat Chie, Mansfield, Keachi, South Mansfield, Kingston,
Longstreet, Logansport, Huxley, Stanley, Grand Cane, Reeds Store,
Converse, and Joaquin.
