Flood Advisory issued April 25 at 8:07PM CDT until April 25 at 9:30PM CDT by NWS Lubbock TX

The severe storm near Smyer is moving slowly to the south and
southeast.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…A portion of northwest Texas, including the following
counties, Hockley and Lubbock.

* WHEN…Until 930 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 807 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Smyer and Ropesville.
