precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Kaskaskia River at Carlyle.

* WHEN…Until Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 21.3 feet, Cabins on the left bank below the gage
begin flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 21.8 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM CDT Saturday was 21.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Friday afternoon and continue falling to 16.2 feet Saturday,
May 03.
– Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
