Warning for the following rivers in Texas…

Prairie Dog Town Fork Red River at Wayside 13NE affecting
Armstrong County.

For the Prairie Dog Town Fork…including Wayside 13NE…Minor
flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of
record.

* WHERE…Prairie Dog Town Fork Red River at Wayside 13NE.

* WHEN…From early this morning to late this evening.

* IMPACTS…At 10.0 feet, Ranch and farm land within the flood plain
begins to flood. Cattle in the flood plain are threatened

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 5:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.9 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 9.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.5
feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
this morning.
– Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
11.6 feet on 05/28/2015.
