Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued April 25 at 8:11PM CDT until April 25 at 8:45PM CDT by NWS Amarillo TX

At 811 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northwest
of Bootleg, or 25 miles northwest of Friona, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Minor damage to roofs, siding, and trees is possible.
People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Waves can wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats nearshore.
