Special Weather Statement issued April 26 at 5:35PM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC

At 534 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles north of Greenville Downtown, or near Tigerville, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Paris Mountain State Park, Tigerville, Lake Robinson, Greer,
Slater-Marietta, Taylors, Travelers Rest, Furman University,
Cherrydale Point, and Greenville Eastside.
