* WHAT…Major flooding is occurring.
* WHERE…Mississippi River at Osceola.
* WHEN…Until late Monday evening.
* IMPACTS…At 30.0 feet, In Tennessee, The Reach-Coker Slough
hunting camp is flooded. Crawford Road West just north of the Fort
Pillow Historic Area is going underwater. Houses are flooding
along Cold Creek Road. Four Mile Road is flooding and Champion
Lake Road is being flooded by Hatchie River backwater. Sunk Lake
Road is flooded north of Bee Lake. In Arkansas, Highway 120 is
flooded between O’Donnell Bend and the levee, and barge loading
has to stop at Osceola.

– At 9:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 30.4 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 PM CDT Saturday was 31.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tomorrow evening and continue falling to 7.6 feet
