forecast.
* WHERE…Mississippi River at Donaldsonville.
* WHEN…Until Sunday, May 11.
* IMPACTS…At 33.0 feet, River barge traffic becomes dangerous,
particularly when navigating sharp turns on this stretch of the
river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 30.6 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.2
feet Thursday, May 1st. It will then fall below flood stage
Saturday, May 10th.
