Special Weather Statement issued April 27 at 4:04PM EDT by NWS Jackson KY

The combination of a dry air mass, light winds, and partly cloudy to
mostly clear skies will allow temperatures to cool rapidly this
evening and overnight into the upper 30s in many rural sheltered
valleys and low-lying locales. Thermometers in the coldest spots
could approach 35 degrees. If frost occurs, sensitive plants and
vegetation may be damaged. Locations near large bodies of water, on
ridgetops, and in urban areas will remain warmer and will not
have frost.
