Special Weather Statement issued April 27 at 4:42PM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT

At 441 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 14 miles southeast of Bozeman to 18 miles east
of Ennis. Movement was northwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar and webcam indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Heavy snow is falling for elevations above 6500 feet.
Expect visibility below a half mile at times.

Locations impacted include…
Jeffers, Gallatin Gateway, Bozeman, Big Sky, and Ennis.
