Special Weather Statement issued April 27 at 5:37PM CDT by NWS Memphis TN

At 537 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of Coffeeville, or 14 miles southeast of Water Valley,
moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Spearman, Benwood, Skuna, Tyson, Bounds, Retreat, and Big Creek.
