Flood Advisory issued April 27 at 6:59PM AST until April 27 at 10:00PM AST by NWS San Juan PR

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall and runoff is
expected.

* WHERE…Ceiba, Fajardo, Luquillo and Naguabo.

* WHEN…Until 1000 PM AST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated,
particularly Rio Blanco in Naguabo.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 658 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result or aggravate
any ongoing minor flooding in the area, particularly in areas
that observed significant rainfall accumulations this
morning.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Fajardo, Naguabo, Luquillo, Ceiba, Aguas Claras, Ramos, Luis
M. Cintron, Roosevelt Roads, Playa Fortuna, Duque, Daguao,
Rio Blanco and Pena Pobre.
