Flood Advisory issued April 27 at 8:26PM AST until April 27 at 10:00PM AST by NWS San Juan PR

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Arecibo and Barceloneta.

* WHEN…Until 1000 PM AST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over
roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 826 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Arecibo, Barceloneta, Bajadero, La Alianza, Imbery, Animas,
Sabana Hoyos, Tiburones, Bufalo and Garrochales.
