…The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in
Arkansas…Mississippi…

Mississippi River at Helena

For the Lower Mississippi River…including Osceola, Helena…
elevated river levels are forecast.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Helena.

* WHEN…Until early Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 42.0 feet, Fields between Jackson Point and Jug
Harris Towhead begin to go underwater. In Mississippi, water is
near or on the toe of the Mississippi Levee south of Highway 49
past mile 658. The road to the terminal at Long Lake Bayou is
flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 41.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall to 17.5 feet Monday,
May 19.
– Action stage is 40.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 44.0 feet.
