precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Kaskaskia River at Carlyle.

* WHEN…Until Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 21.3 feet, Cabins on the left bank below the gage
begin flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 21.7 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:30 AM CDT Monday was 21.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Saturday morning and continue falling to 15.1 feet
Monday, May 05.
– Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
