* WHAT…Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the surf
zone.

* WHERE…Northern beaches of Puerto Rico, from Aguadilla to
Fajardo, and Culebra.

* WHEN…Through 6 PM AST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water, where it becomes difficult to
return to safety.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Latest buoy observations show pulses of the
northeasterly swell spreading across the local waters.
Therefore, the high risk of rip currents was extended.
